Today was another great day! We were blessed with brillant sunshine and the great company of the "Himalayan Giants" as we crossed the Chola Pass at 5450 meters.
It was a challenging trek with tough rock scrambles up and down, navigating our journey over ice and snow along the glacier and finally back down to Dzonglha at a more comfortable elevation of 4800 meters.
We are spending the night here and hoping for some well deserved sleep.
One of the highest points of the journey.
Climbs are steep ...
... and rocky.
The weather was unbelievable.
This is a demanding stage.
Making tracks ...
Sun glasses are essential.
Finally, down towards Dzonglha.
