May 2018: Mount Everest base Camp via Gokyo Ri and Chola Pass

image

Overview

Our Everest Base Camp trek via Gokyo Ri and Chola Pass will be a treat for the heart and mind. We will be trekking through the beautiful Sargamatha National Park near Mount Everest in the Nepalese Himalayas. Tea houses located in small villages will provide us with authentic accomodations and Nepalese food along the way. This is our physically most demanding trek. This trek will lead you over several passes over 5300 meters and it requires good endurance. Being in excellent physical shape will be extremely helpful to enjoy this journey. This trek is truely transformational as you will experience the sheer beauty of the majestic mountains, have a chance to visit with Buddhist monks and listen to their perspective on life and you will be invited into the home of some of our Sherpa friends. Our goal is to show you Nepal through the eyes of our Nepalese friends. Join us on this trek of a lifetime.
